This is a lesson I have created for a bottom set Yr9 to introduce a bit of vocab about Covid-19.

This is a lesson I am using with my top set Yr9. I am going to show them how to form questions in Spanish, a list of question words and how to ask opinions on something. Asking opinions is part of the GCSE speaking exam so I think it is important that they start getting used to understanding and asking questions.

With this resource I am going to do a bit of revision of ‘The Preterite Tense’ with my Year 9 students. For our online meeting I have prepared two activities to do with them, one is a matching up card game, where they have to match the preterite tense verbs in Spanish with their English counterparts; the other one is a quiz with a “Who wants to be a millionaire” format. With this lesson I am doing a bit of revision on one of the grammar topics of Module 3: the definite and indefinite articles. I am also revising a few objects from the school equipment topic, introduced to them earlier in the year.
